In the past two weeks, we have learned in class on how assign a saved bookmark in Diigo a topic. These topics help categorize your bookmarks to make your work more organized. This is helpful for the classroom so that students can go out and find resources on their own, bring them back, and we can discuss in class. In a professional setting, it is a great way for the group to get resources together. Again, the individuals can go out and gain resources on their own, but if they have different projects that they are working on, a specific topic label can help make sure that their work gets recognized by the right group. PowerPoint can easily be applied to Bloom’s Taxonomy to a Punctuation lesson, for example. You can teach the content to the class so they gain knowledge on the topic and Remember the information. Twitter has been an interesting experience. Before taking EME 2040, I didn’t even have a twitter account. Personally, I have mixed feelings about the program as a whole. Due to the issues that have been facing our world, Twitter seems to have become a board for people to post about their issues with the country, Trump, and one another. No matter how much you follow a certain type of account (for example, education accounts), posts from the President and the First Lady pop up on my feed, as well the immense amount of hate people have for the both of them. I feel like if you were able to filter out all the hate and noise of people being on the internet, then Twitter could be an interesting tool for teachers to use for announcements and get the class’s idea on different things. I found that I LOVE designing websites, especially for this educational reason. I found it so much fun to research different math topics and find resources for students to use to help them on...

Bishop Larkin Catholic School doesn’t have the typical layout for their class pages. To start off, they don’t even have “class” pages. On the site, they have the classes sorted by grade type: early childhood, primary, intermediate, and middle school. The primary page (as an example) has all the teachers and aids for grades kindergarten through second grade. Also found on each of the pages is the curriculum for each of the grades. I could see myself designing a website to help my students visualize what I am trying to teach them. I could post the standards for our certain subject areas so the students can see where they should be and if I am helping them to achieve those standards. I also would post my contact information so that students and parents can get in touch with me. I can also use this website to post a calendar so students and parents can know the best times to have a meeting with me. After visiting the Technology Sandbox, I am looking forward to usin...
